Bio:
I have been practicing yoga for 25+ years, teaching yoga for over a decade, and practicing bodywork for 10+ years. I believe in a whole-person approach to bodywork that supports our innate tendency toward well-being. Deep listening to each client is of the utmost importance. I use science-proven techniques, intuition, and creativity rooted in a deep experiential understanding of anatomy. I offer client-tailored yoga sessions; massage sessions combining Swedish, myofascial release, and craniosacral modalities; and group yoga-based movement classes. I also offer individual yoga clients the option of in-person sessions or via Zoom platform.
When I'm not working, I love dance, most notably Gaga/People, Improvisational Team Synchronization (ITS) belly-dance, and Afro-Modern dance. When I'm not dancing or practicing yoga and massage, I enjoy long hikes, wilderness witnessing, and writing. Visit my blog for musings about the inner workings of The Self. Not only the physical body, which is an invaluable portion of the equation, but also the ideas we have about ourselves, the movement of energy within the self, and how all the dimensions of the self communicate or fail to communicate.
